weekendd

Well..it's saturday peeps. I've got only 3 houses to visit today- my dear jubz's, the girl who loves calling herself 'princess'-Ryna and my dear eqah (aka my newly 'adopted' adek :P). Raya this year is so shiet.. I think mainly cos ive got no open house. Mom sez "next year saja.." but next year is gonna be even shittier coz im sitting for O'Levs! X_X

Staying at home yesterday was so dull so i went out by myself to the saloon at the mall.. It's something i do when im bored these days. Well, after that i cheered myself up by buying myself that headband i wanted from eileen chen. It's brown leather, nothing special. Just something i thought would come in handy when im having a bad hair day.. :)

Weeelll, this morning i saw the rates for flights to UK in the paper. and it's only $999! So yeah, im gonna talk it over with my dad later cos im DYING here in Brunei! I seriously need a vacation and UK's been in my head way before my finals even started.

Anyway, i just finishd reading my 5th book which is Maggie Alderson's "Handbags and Gladrags". I rate it a 7.5/10 cos it's THAT fun. Despite all the ehem ehems.. hehe. Believe it or not, i just started reading this year and it's already an addiction. I always thought i hated reading but the tables have been turned and ive already become an overnight bookworm. Now i'm reading a self-help book called "How to win friends and Influence people" by my hero, Dale Carnegie. I think maybe all that 'toastmaster' sessions finally got me interested in public speaking. Anyway i HIGHLY recommend this book if you wanna be good in public speaking cos it may be a path to being financially successful. ;)

balik kampuuung~

hello hi! I feeel super fantastically greeeaaaat!! It's been really long since i felt this way and i'm enjoying every minute of it. Well, i guess what(who) caused this is my parents.. They've just been paying alot of attention to me and that makes me feel unusually happy. I was so happy that i didn't even feel a tiny urge to scold nina when she left her used cotton on my sink. haha random but really, i usually get furious when someone does that.

Well anyway, my parents can make me smile endlessly by just being really tolerant cos yknow why? I used to cry when they don't. And by crying i don't mean stomping my feet like an annoying grumpy kid. I love my parents to death and i used to feel really hurt when they ignore me.. so THERE! I just revealed something i've never let out before. I'm glad im not that sad emo kid i used to be..

So today i didn't sleep after sahur again. I stayed up doing my speech for the last day of our Toastmasters session. :( I presented it as sucky as always~ Kaka was online too and she pretty much helped me start.. Thank Allah she's my helpful sister or else i would be presenting some piece of crap that i had to improvise on. At the end of the session i was picked to become MC for our presentation for the hsbc CEO next week. Next to yii sian! yay~~

Before i end this i'd like to say Selamat Hari Raya! Puasa went by so fast i didn't even get to blink. Tomorrow i'm gonna be having a full on pampering starting with eyebrows at 2.30(fiqah's gonna have her first threading-i'm so proud of her~ *sob* haha lame), followed by a blow dry and a manicure at 7.30 ;) Well anyway, have fun everyone and text me for invites k? :D ciao!<33

Evanescence.

I watched the making of 'Call me when you're sober' by evanescence on youtube to check out the 'cute' wolfguy people are talking bout. So yea i found out that he's not some very very famous person but he is progressing. He's really a british musician/actor with very nice eyes. And he's 23. *wink-wink* :P lol. I sound so pervertish~

Oliver Goodwill(that's his real name. not wolfie.)

Apparently he's got lots and lots of fans.. and when i say alot i mean 643,000 Google search pages based on him(included with all the rubbish pages of course :P). He has a part in Tokyo Drift and plays in a band called "melessa jean band"(TNF!).

Anyway..school was boring so i got out early. Me n cheryl played warship in class and i beat her! IN YOUR FACE CHER!! hahaha.. but seng wei was being his kepo-self and tried to hint-hint me with all that "Qilah, f8! f9!" tsk tsk.

Anywaez it's another 3 more hours till sungkai and im gonna join the rest of the f4sci-ers for dinner at yayasan.. with MR LIM. =_= sigh..

My Love.

YO! im back muthas~ haha. wtf.

Exams FINALLY ended!! weee~ but the shit thing is that everyone still hasto go back to school fr another frickin' week.. practically useless coz all we do is 'rubbesh'. Well anyhway, we all got our test papers back. i improved in most subjects but some still remained constant(as in fail. he he) Subjects such as A.MATH. fcken subject. But i wholly forgive the teacher for making my life miserable cos he's gonna 'lanja' us tomoroe :D wait. no. I meant partly forgive him, as in 0.3% forgive him cos he's still an a**. hehe.

Everyone's celebrating the end of exams now.. Like last saturday our class had this BBQ thing at Mak's place. Too bad i didnt get to go cos it seemed fun.. and then today Jane invited me to go to the mall with the 'B-Gang'(Grace,Ee Lynn, Pin Jia, Susan) for a movie n dinner. I don't know if Karen went but again, i didn't go cos I wanted to save up for my weekend with Licia.. Besides, im on hunger strike. haha not. Im just fasting.

My dad's new car arrived today. It's a black(again) toyota fortuna. I didn't like it at first obviously cos of the design but it's not mine and definitely not my money so wtheck.

(I forced my driver to drive me up to the garage just to get this pict. :P)

Since the holidays are starting my parents are getting me to start violin and tennis lessons. Aside that i decided to take golf lessons again so fauzi won't beat the crap outta me. But really, im looking forward to starting horse riding again... It's been lyk 3/4 months since i last visited the stable and i miss it soo much!! Karen! wanna join?? hehe.

arghh! i miss blogging. ive got alot to share but too bad i've already forgotten most things that happened to me. Maybe it's short-term memory, i wouldn't know. Though, i do remember how much we spend during the fasting month. It's seriously suffocating.. Whenever my mom goes to the tamu or has some recipe in her head for dinner, it's $100 a day-just for sungkai. Yesterday(sunday) me, my sises n my mom went out to buy stuff and we spent $200 on grocery, $300 on vincci shoes (that's 8 pairs for raya and we're only gonna be visiting for a day!) and $100 on small things. Last tuesday, we spent $450 on our maids' furnitures, about $200 on grocery and $300+ on silks frm shim co. If u add up all the other necessities, it sums up to another $200.

Total cost : more than $2000 a week.

It would be even worse if we were gonna celebrate raya this year.. Despite that, we Thank Allah for the rezeki(blessing). Anywayy *newsflash* I might be leaving for UK with fiqah after raya or prolly during. Depends on my parents really.. so no open house.. :) Sorry to winnie and the others. They've been wanting to come over like forever..

Anyway im rly tired now.. To Licia and Fauzi. I BLOGGED. :)
